Should we be getting exited about this?

My point is (I won't go the route that you went, and ask you what your point
was in asking what my point was, as you did) that what was the guy's purpose
for saying you could find GP4 out on the binaries?  I'm sure we could all
find that out ourselves, in we were so inclined.  I see no reason why the
initial poster had to post what he did, unless it be to show everyone here
that he found out something, possibly, before anyone else did.

That was my point and the specific reason for asking the guy what his point
was.

Now-- what's your point?

Nope.. I just played GP4. And then I deleted it.

I believe his point was that it is available for people to try before it
officially hits the stores.  At least that is what it said to me.

Any difference as to how it feels compared to GP3 2k ?

Andre,

It's so bad you already deleted it?  Please tell us inquiring minds more
about this.

It's exactly the same as GP3, only a graphics update (I have to turn
off most fancy options to keep a reasonable fps though, leaving me
with GP3 graphics again).

I played F1 2002 for about 2 hours tonight, and driving GP4 after that
is a joke. It's like driving on rails again, no feeling in the car at
all, and way to easy to control the car.

I must admit I didn't test everything in GP4, first thing after I
finally got my controller working was a race on Suzuka, and after 3
laps I deleted it.

I also didn't test everything before a trashed GP4.  But F1 2002 runs
circles around GP4.  What got me most definitely was that even though I was
running a good 180mph around that last turn at Indy, I felt like I was on an
escalator, stuck at turtle-like speed.  With F1 2002, making that last turn
you can feel the speed and it gets you all nervous and such, just as it
should.

<trying to find "something" good in GP4>

...

"Hey, it has better tracks than F1 2002!" ;-)

Explain yourself.  I said nothing about the ethics of the guy saying
anything about the binaries, did I?  I just wondered why he said what he
said.

And though I don't consider myself a hypocrite, I do consider you to be none
too versed in the use of language.  Finally, you'd have to pay me to run
GP4.  It's a step backwards from what GP3 was, which was a crime in and of
itself.
