can't change cars in driver demo?

I downloaded the official driver demo, then downloaded the mission editor
(the newest one). I had already removed the cops based on someone's post
from this newsgroup, so i went and tried to change the car, it didn't crash
the game, but i still had the same ole pos car that could only do 87 mph!

what's wrong?!

problem sovled
i hit return to defaults in the editor, then changed the car and it worked
the white car is awesome! i got it up to 173mph!
