Ferrari and Copper Online series

Hi All !
Here is my project :
I would like to organize an online league reserved only to the ferrari's  &
to the cooper's
Every 15 days a Ferrari race
the next 15 days a Cooper race

the races would be "Full lengh races " or "Pro long" don't know yet
anyway no shift+R allowed
the purpose of this league would not be to search the ultimate performance
but friendship and fun :o)
10 players per race , not inevitably the same drivers at each race , I
prefer that a a lot of of racers could participate .
the only conditions required : be fair , love racing sim and not be a killer
:o)

But , I need your Help , because I don't get a fast connection , so I'm
looking for a nice guy who get a cable , T3 or other fast connection to host
Remember only 2 races by months ....

If somebody is interested to help me by hosting   please send me a mail to

Thks a lot :o)

I might be getting a T1 line soon.  Dont know when so i probably wont be of
much help.  Besides a T1 can probably only handle about 8 racers.

I just dont understand why you do this league ! The Cooper is no match for
the Ferrari. Waht will happen will be the Ferrari's being ahead and the
Coopers behind. In fact you will just be recreating the same thing as normal
leagues, with Ferrari's instead of Lotuses.

Hi Thierry,

I had to re-read Jean's post, because I was thinking the same thing;
however it is like a spec race in the PRC.  There will be only
1 type of car per race.

See excerpt:

"Every 15 days a Ferrari race
the next 15 days a Cooper race"

I am organizing a spec race each Friday for the PRC (Pro Racing Club).
So If you want to participate, talk to your nearest PRC member.
New members are must be referred by current members.

I would expect a T1 line to be able handle at least double that amount.
My 256k ADSL can easily handle 10-12 and begins to falter at 14.  But
this has as much to do with latency due to Internet weather more than
the load to my server.
