F1 2002 : Anti-lock brakes and traction control?

F1 2002 : Anti-lock brakes and traction control?

Does anyone _really_ know what the current situation in F1 is regarding
anti-lock brakes and traction control?  Are they both legal, and if so, does
everyone run it?

I'm trying to get my F1 2002 configuration synced up with the real world as
much as possible.  I'm running with both off and suffice to say the barriers
know my car number very well.

Many thanks!

ABS is now banned in modern F1, but were used in the 90ies, TC was used
at the same time, later banned, but last year TC was legalised again.

There are also talk about Williams gonna go for active-suspension again btw
(which was banned), but they might have found a hole in the rules, or just
want to test it if it gets legal again?.

TC was only made legal due to unpoliceable software systems, about time FIA
sorted that out and made it illegal again...

So all you gotta do is find a way to introduce a banned deviceor system
so that it cannot be easily policed and the authorities will be forced to
legalize it...sounds like the convicts are running the Prison.

Turn the following on.

Auto Up Shift
Traction Control
Clutch Help  (simulate anti-stall electronics)

Turn the following off
Steering Help
Invulnerability
Stability Control ( turn back on if Active Suspension comes back )

That's about as real as it gets. TC and LC are currently both legal - and
most teams have auto upshift.  What F12002 doesnt simulate is auto-upshift
override to shortshift.
