ICR2NCAR - championship season (NEW!!!)

by @qmail.bs.jhu.ed » Sun, 05 May 1996 04:00:00

1. Many of us have had the pleasure of racing NASCAR cars on Indycar tracks.

2. Has anyone figured out how to change the tracks that are run in the
NASCAR championship season such that the Indycar tracks are added in place
of a NASCAR track.

e.g. Instead of starting with Rockingham, Richmond, Atlanta, etc.
Start with Rcokingham, Detroit, Australia, etc.

3. I'm hoping that this can be done with a simple text editor.

Thanks in advance.

I know you can do this because I did the opposite with NASCAR to
Indycar tracks.  You have to edit the Calendar file, but don't do it in
Win95, do it with the edit option in DOS.  Besure to back-up your old
calendar incase something goes wrong.  Try looking for the instructions
to add a "Daytona" race to your schedule.  That basically is the way you
add a race to your schedule.

A simple editor in DOS will do.  Look for the instructions to add a
"daytona" race and that is basically what you have to do.  Be sure to
back up your old calendar file--just in case.
