Only on the surface. I quite honestly did mean to suggest that there
were legitimate reasons to illegitimately use pirated software. Best way to
describe it was to use a paradoxical construction. (Yes, I've paid attention
fine, considering I actually teach those classes.)
That said, as I've pointed out those legitimate uses are not very
numerous. I'd find them completely bogus with companies known to have a
reputation of quality and/or a good full-featured demo. EA and F12k are
neither.
