I don't know what could have cause it, but every time I try to look at my
best laps in the main menu of GPL it dumps me to the desk top.
 The 2 things I did recently were add Nim's gpl_ai.ini file to change the AI
behavior. Tried changing that back but that didn't help.
  I also recently tried the online chat font size patch that increases the
font size in GPL. I had already re installed my old files to remove it
because it was causing shudders when text would come up.
 I did try up loading my player.ini file to GPL rank, and it seems to be ok
there.
 Anyone have a clue what I can do or is familiar with this problem?

How odd last night mine started doing the same thing! I have not
installed anything new and do not know why 'Best Laps' has stopped
working.

Probably your PC will save you from embarrassment ;-)

Do the following:
backup your player.ini (and other .ini files which seem of value for you)
iron over the 1.2 patch
If this doesn't work, reinstall GPL over you exixting setup.

BTW:
Did you overclock anything in your computer? My GPL is quite unstable when I go
to the limit.
