I tried to find a way to get all tracks, but havent find anything from
internet. I have the "money cheat" but its so annoying to race with nice
cars those short tracks. Anyone know a way to easily get all tracks
available? I didnt buy this game to be able to race a Fiat Abarth at
Nurnburgring short, but to have all futures the game have, cause Ive paid
for that. I hate these type of "career mode" games - simply dont understand
whats the catch for the manufacturer either.

So, tracks and cars should be open for anyone right from the start. Maybe
someone knows how to get it working?

You seemingly knew that it came with the career mode, (and thus the
locked content) yet bought it expecting something else? Ok......

Anyway, there is a .plr file edit posted here at RAS that allows you to
"win" all the races w/o actually running all the laps.

I agree that career modes are silly. Please consider voting with your
wallet and do not buy those games, and do tell the maker of that game of
your decision.

I think career modes are fine as long as they are given as an option and
not forced upon the user.

I have to admit that I didnt knew that it came with career mode. I expected
a clone of GTR but with older cars. This what it actually is, a clone, and
have to say that if I knew that in the beginning, I wouldnt have bought
this. This is quite simply a way top get money from racing simulator fans,
clone successful game and run... and as we all know, GTR still has some
serious problems and the lobby, which seems to be taken directly from GTR
(desingned only differently) isnt working as it should, in either games.

I will pass the .plr file mod and play instead GTR. I dont see that its my
problem if gamemaker has restricted the use of the product. Its like buying
a normal car with 300 hp but you can only use 80 of them in the beginning
and when you have driven for 10.000 km you`ll get extra 100 more. Would you
pay for that kind of car... Anyway, you all got the point and this is only
my opinion. Fortunately you can take part of multiplayer servers that have
all tracks!

As a matter of fact, that idea might just save a few young lives and yes, I
would buy that kind of car for my newly-licensed son or daughter.
Here in my part of the world, beginner motor-bike riders cannot ride
anything with a greater capacity than 250cc, yet the same inexperienced kid
can own and drive a car capable of exceeding the open-road speed limit by
more than three times.

"Career Modes" are great....but only if the buyer of the game has the option
to use or not use such a mode.

Perhaps it's just my way of looking at things, but in this day and age
of internet access and seemingly endless websites that report on every
topic conceivable, including PC/XBOX/PS2 etc. games, why wouldn't you
take a few minutes and read reviews of something that you were thinking
of buying? It's free (internet access aside) and can save you lots of
trouble and aggravation. I have a decent disposable income, but still
spend time and make educated choices when it comes to something as
trivial as a PC sim racing title. I'd rather read a few reviews and
comments from the community on a title that I suspect is a "clone" of a
title that I already owned. As for the .plr file edit, it takes about 1
minute to find, 3 secs to edit, 1 sec to save the file and then maybe
an hour or so to unlock all the content. IF you already own the title,
why not do this and enjoy the game? It's really worth it, and IMHO,
better than GTR.

Happy Thanksgiving to All!
