Home made steeing wheel

Hi!  My TM grand Prix I is fading fast, so I have to consider upgrade to
a newer one.

I checjed here and there on the Net: commercial sites, review, etc.  I
never seem to find the one I really want.  It's like I would like the TM
pedals, with the ACT labs steering, with the 'I-don't-know-what-company
' desing, and so on.

So since I know that some sim-racers have actually build their own
wheel, I would like to know how they did it, and if it worth both the
efforts and the price.

I am especially concerned about the pots: how to choose pots which will
LAST, since I figure the pots we usually find at electronics stores are
not build to endure successive races at the Ring :)

Thanks in advance!

---  'May the downforce be with you'

(No, I didn't invented it, I actually saw it on RAS, but I loved it
soooo much!)

Hi there,

If you want to build your own wheel, perhaps you'd like to take a look at my
site http://www.gunpowder.freeserve.co.uk/wheels which describes how I built
my own wheel and pedals.

Regards...Mark
