N3 craftsman trucks..

I am disappointed with the news no expansion pack for N4. So..how is the
truck series in N3? I have a chance to purchase the acceleration pack and if
there is some positive feedback I will purchase it. Is it better than the
Nascar heat truck mod?

any info would be appreciated.

N3 craftsman trucks..

Physics are flat and two-dimensional in N3... but with N3 you actually get
all the 1999 truck tracks including the short tracks (that's why I keep my
old Papy games installed!). I can't comment on NHeat's CTS as I haven't
played it much.

  The tracks are the ONLY advantage CTS has over the CTSHeat.  Physics,
graphics, damage, all swing to CTSHeat.   N3Cts has the very stable N3
multiplayer routines and possibly some leagues.  But since the CTS races are
abandoning the short tracks and road courses, CTSHeat is pretty close.

   I didn't say no to the trucks David,  You asked if N3's CTS was better
than the NH CTS mod.  No it isn't.  If you don't have Heat, if you can get
the acceleration pak CHEAP!!  Then go ahead.  But if it comes down to either
the Heat mod or the CTS addon to N3...Heat wins.  If nothing else, getting
the acceleration pak gives you a bigger selection of tracks to race.  The
portland road course included with N3's CTS is perhaps Papy's finest
recreation to date.

OK..no offense I meant that with respect Dave. I have a bad habit of getting
e***d about software only to end up disappointed.
