TIR Demo - Nice Slide-Show!

There is a major malfunction with the TIR Demo.

Graphics are fine until the green light goes, then the whole thing turns
into a slide-show.  We're talking ONE frame per 2 Seconds here.

I really wanted to see this one too :(

If you have an MS FFB wheel, it is a bug that has been corrected by the
recent patch (for the full version).

There are still some frame rate issues with this title, however.

Once the physics are tweaked (i.e., all the arcade ***overlay is stripped
away), this title has the best driving model since GPL (yes, you read that
correctly).  Better than F12002, GTR2002, NR2002.

Unfortunately, there is no damage and fairly pathetic AI, but as a hot
lapper, for non-60's F1 cars, it can't be beat.

A bold claim Marc :)  Yesterday I bought TIR and have applied the patch.
Interesting title so far but as yet its no GPL (big grin).  Also managed to
find that car configurator utility but haven't really gotten into adjusting
things yet. Any hints on what to adjust and how much to adjust it?

Exactly the same thing happened to me after installing the NoCD patch to the
retail game.  Prior to that NoCD patch, there was no problem (even after
applying the "official" TIR patch).

That's a shame.  I hope they release a patch for the demo, because until I
can demo it completely I have no intentions of buying it.

Considering the MSFFW is the #1 selling FF wheel in the world (according to
Microsoft, of course), RazorWorks sure didn't do their homework.

Thanks for the info!

Same problem here - slideshow after the green light...using a LWFF,
AthlonXP, GF4Ti, WinXP.  I might try it with the keyboard some time to see
if it's a controller problem.

i totaly disagree, i try all the physis tweak, try my own tweak with
car configurator, and there is no way it's better than GPL, GTR 2002
or LFS.
