Is ther a F1 game that plays well with up to twenty players over the
internet. Or is there a game in development that support this. I drive N4 a
lot on internet and i really like online racing. I would love to duke it out
with human players on F1 circuits too.

Grand Prix Legends is the only one.  No Modern F1 game will even support
20 players (I dont think - perhaps f1rc?), and it is impossible to play
over the internet.  Saying that GPL is awesome, I have REALLY got into
it again recently, I am trying to stop playing Counterstrike (the road
is long ;)).

All the best,

It's easy to sport playing counterstrike. Just download Day Of Defeat
instead. www.dayofdefeatmod.com (or .net). It's a 100 times more fun
:)

But tomorrow, Return to Castle Wolfenstein is out, so that will
probably fill everyones need for a WWII multiplayer soldier game :)

Heh, it really depends on how you play CS, if it is with a group of
known people it might be fun, but I just got tired of it.

Indeed. The test demo showed a real potential

Single player is a bit boring, no strategy involded, just shoot the
***out of everyone/everything. The first levels were fun, reminding
me of the original wolf (in a castle shooting evil Nazis) but after
that you have to kill.. guess.. yes, zombies :-/

But the multiplayer is damn good fun!! No stupid Quake 3 running
jumping and shooting crap, but much more tactic is involved.
I never tried Day of Defeat though.. it's an addon for HalfLife? I own
an original copy of HalfLife, that's enough?

Yeah, I'm kind of worried about that, the zombie thing might be a real
turnoff, but I'm buying it for the multiplayer aspect anyway.

Indeed. It's a 90 MB download or something. And it requires the latest
Half-Life patch. It's a blast online.

No, not modern anyway.  And I agree; online racing is the only way to fly
IMO.

Seeing the turn this thread took, I guess that sums up the state of F1
