It depends on which F1 you're talking about. If it's GP1 or GP2 then you
can't do it at all. If it's GPL then it's easy - just follow the
instructions in the multiplayer option of the game. If it's F1RS or
MGPRS2 then you have to use dial-up networking to link your two
computers. The connection must be IPX so both boxes will have to install
the IPX network protocol through control panel. If they're both Windows
95 then one of you has to get MS Plus for 95 so that one of you can
configure as a server. If one is Windows 98 then the server comes as
standard. The computer dialling in to the other creates a game in F1RS
or MGP and the other one connects to this game. The connection may take
a little time. Alternatively you can use Kali - well so I'm told I've
never tried this. According to David Fisher, another alternative for MGP
that's on it's way is a game service feature for TCP/IP racing:
"Look at Ubi's MGP site. http://www.monacoracing.com/english/ It will
probably be similiar to their game service they had for POD. It's a sort
of mini Game Zone or a VROC for MGP. I am really looking forward to it
too."
If it's any other flavour of F1 then I haven't got a clue!
