DMAtest scores

I know this is two years behind the times, but what kind of scores should
I expect to get from the DMATEST.exe program?   I have a P200mmx with a
Diamond Stealth II 220.  No overclocking.
Once I got the bios tweeked to run the program I managed to get the #'s to
look like the following,  should I expect more??
Fifo  18.8 mb/sec
DMA 81.6 mb/sec

That's right in the ballpark.  FIFO around 15-25, DMA 60-120 is
what I remember.  I seem to remember reducing some BIOS setting (DMA
latency, maybe?)for better performance, but that's really fuzzy.  Do a
Deja News Power Search on the period right about two years ago for
more info.

OK, just did a little searching of my own past posts via my
newsreader:

Subject: N2 Rendition Frame Rates

>>* BTW, In DMADIAG I'm getting 21 M/sec FIFO and 97-98 M/sec DMA.
>>How does that compare with other Rendition users out there?

(That was with a P133, a Supermicro P5STE HX motherboard, and an
Intergraph Reactor [now Intense 3D 100].)

   Try searching on that thread...
