GPL hosting online problem

When I host a race either through WinVroc or just normal TCP/IP type the
following happens almost every time.

I set a race (any track) qualifying session runs fine and at start of race 1
or more other racers can't get to the start grid.

I've experimented by juggling the order the racers join. It doesn't seem to
matter if I join first or last as host but when I do 9 times out of 10 the
races disco's.

I have all the patches I can think of .
I'm hosting via 56K modem connecting usually at about 44K.

Just seems a tad weird to me this problem and I've had it for quite some
time.

I'm not an expert here, but with a 56k modem, the most you could hope to
host is....about 4?  I think your limited bandwidth is *** and one
driver gets booted by the software to make room for the rest...
try getting your group together on vroc and join one of the hosted races...

Thanks Dave, most of our racing is done that way (Vroc)but occasionally, we
might want to have a small private race normally for lessons.(I need them ).

I realise bandwidth is problem but thought 3 or 4 racers with pings lower
than say 400MS should have been ok..maybe it's not. I wondered whether I've
got a wrong setting somewhere..never mind..not a biggie..
