Gran Turismo poll

Hi,

I'm conducting a survey on GT fans. if you don't want to answer a question that's OK and
your other answers will still count! Here are the questions:

1. What is your favourite car?
2. What do you think is the best car?
3. What is your favourite circuit?
4. How old are you, if you know any other GT fans you can also give their name and age.
5. How much hours do you play GT in a week? (approximately)
6. What is the best prize car?
7. What is your favourite event?
8. Which car do you think is the best value for money (35000 Cr. prize cars excluded)?
9. What modifications do you think there should be in GT2?
10. Which car are you expecting the most in GT2?

Thanks,
              Fubu

My favorite car is the Camaro Z28.. only because I have the exact same one!
HA!
The best car is the vette.. modified and setup correctly, nothing can beat
my driving style when I'm using the vette.
I hope GT2 has more classic cars.  I would like to see muscle cars in
races.. 66 mustang, 67 camaro, 68 firebird, etc..  I would also like to see
some visual effects from Ridge Racer 4 put into GT2.  The car I am hoping
the most that will be in GT2 is a Shelby Cobra 427!!  I have YET to see a
racing sim anywhere that modeled this car correctly (I think Test Drive did
a screwy job on it).

Thanks a lot for the votes, Doug. I'll post the results when I have enough entries to draw
serious conclusions.
BTW: Doug, you're a crazy man, "the best car is the vette" :)

Regards,

Fave car.......anything RWD

fave track............the one in the 60 lap race....NOT just the E, but the
whole lot.

Cant say how long i play on it a week, cos i might not go on it for ages and
ages, then go mad and have a oversteer session!!!!!!!!!

Got a wheel!!!!!

I agree with that kid with a funny name...the one who likes all the old
Muscle cars.........me too, a Shelby Mustang would be good, or some really
old Jap cars, i know they had the AE86, but i have a 77GT Celica(looks like
a Mustang, thats why i got it..)

its not really the cars, its the handeling etc.

A good ST section would be cool!!!!!!!!1

Oh......im in my 20's.................

variety is the spice of life...
But if I do actually buy a real Subaru Impreza Wagon, I guess that
     will be.   8-)
     Different cars suit different series.
Cerbera LM for racing series, though a race-modded GTO (GTO'95MR is best)
or Skyline (e.g. R32Skyline'89GT-R) can beat it.  The North
American race-mod ConceptCar is almost a "cheat", though a bit twitchy
to to tune and control.  And not available in Europe.
Vipers seem good for both Normal and Tuned Series, though the
over-powered GTO's and Skylines are faster on most courses in the Tuned.
     Grand Valley East ii
old enough to remember clearly when Eddy Merckx used to race. 8-)
When overdosing on holiday, it might have been as much as 60.
Now I try and keep it to about 16.
Cerbera LM; And the North American race-mod ConceptCar--but see
     above.
If I have the time, the Grand Valley 300 is *definitely* my
     favourite event.
     A stock Viper.  A real money-making machine.
Tuning a car makes costs fairly equivalent for tuned cars.
For a cheap < 10,000 starter, the Civic3dr'93si is definitely best.
Access to "preferences" (controller settings, view changes, etc)
       from almost anywhere.
Ability to transfer a replay from one replay library to another.
     Ability to load a timetrial replay for a ghost during practice;
perhaps after lap two, the second lap could be replayed indefinitely,
with start synchronized to each of your laps.  But I doubt if they'll
       do this.   8-)
       Mini! Mini! Mini!

Adrian.

>3. What is your favourite circuit?

High Speed ring - easy to corner.

I'm 20.

Don't count. I must admit, I haven't played it in a while.

Megaspeed

Mitsubishi Eclipse

Car damage needs to be included this time around.

Ferrari

>Hi,

>I'm conducting a survey on GT fans. if you don't want to answer a question that's OK and

>1. What is your favourite car?

TVR Cerbera. Great handling and power-to-weight ratio.

TVR Cerbera, for the reasons above.

SS 11 or High Speed Ring.

I'm 34.

Oh, about an hour on average. I tend to go through GT binges where I
play for a few hours a night for about four to five days, then the
game may sit dormant for a few weeks. But I've owned GT probably
longer than any PlayStation game. My inventory changes quite often,
but GT has a permanent home.

TVR Cerbera. I really like the Subaru Impreza prize car, too. The
Viper GTS-R also is a rocketship, too. But the TVR Cerbera still
reigns supreme. Detect a trend here? :)

Either the Tuned race or Normal race, because they're the toughest to
win.

Mitsubishi FTO-R. This car handles really well when tricked out and
can dominate the FF races and the Sunday and Clubman Cup races, and it
costs around $20,000 new, I think. Any stock Viper is a good buy
because it's the best car for the Normal race and can win many series
bone-stock.

Damage. Damage. Damage. It's very unrealistic to be able to slam cars
against walls or rock faces without penalty.

BMW's and Ferrari's! The 1960s muscle cars will be fun, too.
Thanks to you, Fubu. Excellent post.

Hey man, you don't know Eddy???? He's our Belgian cycling hero, he won the tour the France
5 times, and he won not only the TdF, he won almost all the races he competed in!!! That's
why he's called "the ***".

Mitsibishi GT

Same

Mountain one where you hit that hard turn to the right (forget the name right now)
As the others have said, I play intense for a few weeks and then drop off for
a month or so. During the times I play, I play probably 15-20 hrs/week.
Dodge Concept Car is pretty cool
Standard IA Class race finale
Damage, more cars, through the windshield view, multiplayer racing with AI cars
I would love a Porsche 959 or 911 or a VW Scirocco.
