I've answered this question in a number of threads, but people still
keep asking it. So, here's a new thread...
NASCAR 2 is based on the 1996 Winston Cup season -- cars, drivers &
tracks. The new Texas track will not be used until the 1997 season.
NCR 2 will not include Texas. It will include North Wilkesboro &
Loudon. But who knows what the future holds!
