N4 Release Date.....

Do you really think that N4 will be 6 more months before release?  I
mean, looking at the screenshots and such...it seems they are pretty
far along with the process.

I would think 3 or 4 months....but only 6 if they want a Christmas
bonus if you know what I mean.

I realize they need to do testing, get licences and such...but good
grief....if you think about it they have been designing this product
for a couple of years already.  This was supposed to be the Nascar
Racing 3 remember?

Just curious...maybe somebody who has a clue and clue me in on what
really goes on from this point on....

Thanks...

Lee

Lots and Lots of testing.

We also do not know how far along they are on the tracks. Maybe they still
have alot of the tracks to design.

I hope they take the whole 6 months and put out a top quality non buggy
program. Although I also would like a slightly buggy beta to***around
with too! heheheh.

A-men!

I wouldn't care if it took another year if it's DONE. I'd much, much
rather wait for a completed program that works like it's supposed to
than have a frustrating, rushed-out-the-door dissapointment.

HEHE sounds like you have never worked in the software industry!!
Just because it looks pretty doesn't mean it is.  If they say 6 months
then it will probably be 12 months.

Again, they have been working on this product for over 2 years
already.

And no, I never have.  I'm an airline pilot not a computer geek. :-)

Well I've been put on projects that were supposed to take 5 weeks.  5
weeks turns into 3-5 months very very quickly.  Usually the cause is a
misunderstanding of the software industry.
