VROC and long races

by Doug Schneide » Sun, 23 May 1999 04:00:00

I'd love to participate in some GP races.  The challenge of grinding it out lap
after lap, maintaining your focus, not dumping it in the weeds, and hopefully maybe
even racing well enough to gain time or positions, all this appeals to me immensly.
I doubt if you'll see it happen often with pick-up races on VROC though.  I believe
races like this would have to be scheduled events, so the players can plan the time
in advance.  JMHO.

There's an idea.  Just change the number of laps in the .ini file?  I'll have
to check that out...

I don't think I've done *10* laps there since I BOUGHT the game...(at least 7
months)

Hmm.  128 laps at the Ring, at about 11 min/lap - That's almost 24hours!  Can't
even IMAGINE that... :)

There is usually a Spa GP hosted every weekend, last time 2 cars finished, a
Lotus and a Ferrari, I drove in it myself but lost my engine.
