I've always been a big fan of the Papyrus line of Nascar games. I have Nascar
Racing 1 along with the seperate Track Pack, and Nascar 2. But now since i've
downloaded the Nascar Revolution Demo and seen and heard for myself, i'm
wondering if I should buy Nascar Revolution. The reason for leaning towards
Nascar Revolution is because of NR1999 being generally the same as N2 except
you can race Busch Series and Trucks. So which one do you think I should go
with for the most realism and all other things considered?

Hard - Core Racers wouldn't be asking this they would be laughing
at Nascar Revolution.

I am personally NOT going to buy nascar revolution but I think papy wanted
to gear towards all those need for speed type racers. Not a permanent
gearing but just to get more people to buy a game from them. Their games
are getting so hard core that the average joe needs something with good
graphics and simple to drive.

Until a demo comes out showing its simulation side, or the real thing comes
out... no one can say for sure.

I'd recommend you just get the truck, TPTCC, and BGN patches for N2 if
your budget's tight. If you have a 3Dfx card, though, I'd recommend NR99.
I, too, have had all the Nascar series (except the BGN addon) and plan on
NasRev for when I just wanna do a few laps and have FUN as opposed to
getting the real racing sensation.
With all the patches available for N2, it's a great way to go.

I think you are mistaken.... you are talking like Nascar Revolution is from
Papyrus... It is NOT!

Nascar Revolution is an Arcade style game from EA Sports... it shouldn't even be
considered a Racing Sim. I definitely do not recomend it to any Racing Sim Fan!

Hmmmm.... Their website lists it for $49.95 (NO WAY!)... $35 is a
little closer to realistic!
