NH "Beat The Heat" - Nascar meets Need for Speed!

Not only does Nascar Heat look to be a ton of fun racing AI and on-line in the
normal fashion, the feature "Beat The Heat" looks to be a great fun!  From what I
have read it offers a total of 39 challenges that reward you based on your
performance with either gold, silver or bronze medal.

From Blackhole Motorsports:
"This mode of game play gives you six chapters (Super speedway, Speedway, Short
Course, Advanced Techniques, NASCAR Races, and High Octane) and a bonus chapter
with several tasks/challenges to accomplish."

Just two of the challenges below - should be a BLAST (also from BHM):

"You are at Las Vegas and you are in 4th position with two laps to go and behind
you is Dale Earnhardt. Your goal is finish in the top three but Dale has got some
fresh tires and he's coming on strong. During this chapter, you will really know
why he got labeled as the "Intimidator". As he will bump, hit the side of the car
or even tap you."

"You are Bobby Labonte's teammate and he's in 4th, yet you are almost a lap down.
In between you can Bobby are three adversaries: Tony Steward, Jeff Burton and
Jeff Gordon. Your goal in six laps is to have Bobby win the race though he can
place in the top three positions. So in order for you to do that, you will have
to impede the progress of the three drivers so Bobby can catch up and pass them
all."

This should keep me busy until N4.  I'm pretty sure all of us GPL enthusiasts
(that don't mind circle tracks) will be drawn to that title when it hits, but
from now until then I'm really looking forward to Nascar Heat :)
