Best place to get a good, cheap 3dfx2 card

by Mike Peterse » Tue, 10 Nov 1998 04:00:00

I already have a Diamond Voodoo2, but a friend of mine wants a Voodoo2 for
his system, without killing his checkbook.

He has a p2-233 with 64 meg ram, 4meg AGP vid card.

Since the Diamond 12mb is around $200, where's a cheaper place to get a good
12meg voodoo2 card for him?

Thanks to anyone who responds. Remove nospam to reply or post it here on the
newsgroup. (It doesn't have to be a Diamond card, but would like it to be a
12 meg if possible.)

Check www.bestdata.com . They're selling their 12meg V2 for $129.95.

Mike,

I bought a 3D Blackmagic at Best Buy for $149.00. It's a 12mb card and
seems to work very well on my K6 233, 64 mb.
