Hopefully, (F1)GP2 will include the following:-
Decent crashes with wings and wheels flying off,
Ability to damage other parts of the car than just the front/rear wings(*),
Engine Blowouts(*),
Punctures(*),
Real spins (instead of those ***ones in F1GP)(*),
Good replay mode(*),
Very good driver AI that actually challenges(*),
Changeable weather during races(*),
Good, fast SVGA mode(*?),
Paintkit editor,
Decent marshal sprites/polygon based charactars(*?),
Good pit crew graphics and external camera replays in the pits,
Actual distinguishable tyre wear (unlike in F1GP where you could hardly
tell)(*),
Crowd noises (especially cheers upon victory of a home driver),
Decent speed on a 486 and complete demon-head mad-speed in full
SVGA-glory on a ninja PC(*?),
Performance logger,
Good driver editor for the new season(*?),
Pace car (and maybe parade lap)(*?),
Sand traps(*),
AI cars that will actually spin off of their own accord occasionally
(just like real life!)(*),
Rain and fog during qualifying(*?),
Blue flags(*?),
Red flags(*),
Black flags(*),
A pre-Christmas release date!!.
(*)=Definate or likely to be included

No doubt millions of people agree with me so lets see to it that most,
or all, are included in the game.

PS. Wouldn't say no to a demo either ;-)

I don't want to play ICR cause its shit! I already have it and the collision detection is
crap, the tracks are boring and its too much of a chore to play!

In regards to your want list for f1gp2  I can think of one thing you forgot
Networking. Yes this is what really made f1gp come alive, you know calling your
friends and having a really challenging race not winning by two laps(at least).
Not to mention it was good fun smashing into a friend that was taking it too
seriously. Well thats the only other thing I can think of at the moment, ohh
and your right a demo would be great.

P.S. If my reply takes a while its because I only use the net once a week maybe

I see you don't mention ICR2!

Well, you know what everyone is gonna say now - go away and play with your
joypad and Pole Position or Mario Kart... or are they too much of a "chore"
for you too?

What's the chore with just sitting in the car and hitting the gas? You don't
have to get involved if you don't want to, but at least the option is there.
Turn down the dfficulty and put the driving aids on.

I bet you still play F1GP with all the driving aids on, don't you?

What's the point in driving aids? They HINDER you more than anything. Nah,
it's no way to learn at all. The best way is to go for maximum realism
from the start and just drive more cautiously if you have to.

You may as well get a "fairground ride" simulator and just sit in it... :-)

BTW, does anyone know if the "rumble strips" on the road tracks are in ICR2?
They were sadly missed in the original. But I have an idea WHY... The wheels
are GLUED to the ground!!! You cannot make your tyres leave the track even an
inch. Yes, I've tried it... THAT, is what made F1GP better. A shame you still
couldn't turn the car over, but at least it was something.
