league I race in get his new computer optimized for NR2002. Well i'm happy
to report that we got his FPS from 20-25 up to over 100. Now his only
remaining problem is he is getting a split second screen freeze while racing
online, he has checked offline and it does not occur, only online. Here is
his post from the thread on our league message board:
ok played with vsync disabled in both d3d and opengl. Also changed the
rend_ogl.ini and rend_3d3ini Antisitropic filterlevel to 0. Frame rates did
improve in D3D to between 40 and 60 on average and 70 to 80 in open gl. This
is with the 27.42 drivers.
I however still have the problem of split second freezing on the track where
the video freezes. This of course causes warp and freakes me out! lol
I'm off now to install the 21.83 drivers if I can track them down. Thanks to
all for the continued help.
Ok loaded the 21.83 drivers and at Daytona the frames range from 80 to 140.
Very nice considering I use to be at 25. lol
I still however am getting split second freezes and just don't know what the
problem causing these freezes might be at this point. No way I will be able
to race online with the split second freezing. One other note...when I run
offline I have not experienced this freezing. Is there still a possibility
that a sound card issue could be causing this split second freezing? Has
anybody read or come across anybody else having this problem with a G3
ti500? Is anybody with any video card having split second freeze problems or
read of somebody having this problem?
