Layoffs at Papyrus?

Recently through the grapevine I heard that Papyrus had a round of layoffs
at the beginning of February. Mention was made of people of several years
seniority being let go. Anyone know what the truth is and whether the
alleged layoffs will affect new stuff coming down the pipe?

   I have no knowledge of any layoffs, but...it would fit a pattern that
Sierra has developed lately.  Tribes 2 was finished and they fired the whole
Dynamics crew...another title was finished about  the same time and THAT
crew was fired.
  Hmmmm any company looking for instant credibility online could pick up a
few Papy types if that story is true.

Maybe some ex-papy talent will be able to find work on a CART sim now that
they are free of the Sierra shackles.
