If you own a Logitech wheel, I'd like to know if you would consider the
purchase of a separate stick shifter, like the RS Shifter, as an add on
product. This would assume that it would have a simple plug-in connection
(no modifications required), would offer up to 5 speeds plus reverse or
operate as a simple shifter, and would cost about $49 US. It would be
similar to the photos on my site:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

This survey has nothing to do with Act Labs. Act Labs doesn't know that I am
conducting this survey (and probably wishes I didn't), and as far as I know,
Act Labs does not plan to offer this. This is just a survey for my own use
on my site.

LOL! That's like asking if I'd pay $49 for a modification that gets rid of
the FF. The paddle shifters are one of the best features of the wheel, once
you get used to them, there is no turning back.

Nope.  Not interested, sorry.

No, I don't feel it's necessary.

Lots of negatives here... didn't expect that.

As for me, sure, why not? -50 bucks ain't the end of the world.

I don't think I understand, Tracey. Adding the shifter wouldn't eliminate FF
or the paddle shifters.

No, I'm not considering making add on shifters for the LWFF wheel.

Intersting note, though, so far 4 "no" replies on the news group, and 6
"yes" replies in private email. Remember, the question is if you'd
*consider* it, not buy it for sure. And thanks for the replies.

I would if the clutch pedal was also offered.
I have a TSW with a shifter and a LWFF with the paddles.
I personally prefer the paddles.
However, a clutch pedal and a shifter would be more authentic for GPL.
