Excuse me if I am OT; I am seaerching a steering wheel+pedals that:

- is robust and well made;
- let me play f1gp2 without steering aid;
- has the shift up and down on the wheel;

Can I buy the wheel and later the pedals?
Are there any FAQ? I am not able to find one!

Thank You in advance for your replies, please send them to

Have you seen the upcoming Act-Labs Force Racing System force feedback
steering wheel?  I saw it while I was browsing the latest edition of PC
Gamer, and when I first saw it the only thing I could think of saying

Not only does it have force feedback, but no-slip pedals, 8 HYPER
Programmable buttons and (this is the awesome part) an F1 style
butterfly gear rocker!

It'll probably be expensive when it comes out...I guess I'll just have
to ask Santa Claus!  :-)

I use the Digital Edge F1 Sim
(http://www.racecar.co.uk/interactive_racing/access.html)

The build quality is superb ( all steel construction).  Unfortunately
it's pedals and wheel or not at all.

Detailed plans for building your own steering wheel and pedals can be
found at <http://www.oz.net/~wottenad/wheel2.htm>.
