Do most racing leagues allow for the updates to the AI's? I wouldn't
want to d/l the files and find out I can't use them in a racing league.

I know that they will not work in TRRL98. Can't add or
change anything but the car count. Verified that last
week!

most leagues will not want you to use them uless they ask you to
download them. that way every one racing is racing the same way against
the same ai.

I agree, the same goes with driver skill numbers. This can make or
break a race. I wonder if all of the leagues check for this. Now I
may be biased (with good reason), but I would highly suggest that the
leagues keep a*** of the AI enhancements at the CCG NASCAR2 AI
Project <http://www.racesimcentral.net/;. If you are going to
have them run a track and see who's the best, it only makes sense to
have them run against hard, but clean running AI.
As a matter of fact one of the beta testers for the CCG AI spends way
too much time on NROS, but he highly recommends our AI for offline
racing. He says they make for an excellent challenge and pushes the
human driver to do even better. It could only help you NROS racing.
Where as some of the default AI will teach you bad grooves, braking
points and passing strategy.

Hehe, and WHO might that be Michael? It's true, on NROS the guys who
win are the ones who a)stay out of dangerous situations, b) are smooth
and consistent. The CCG AI gives you a smooth and consistent opponent
that acts like a trainer, if you will. I urge you, as an NROS driver,
to download and install the CCG AI files, and run a race with the AI
plastered all over you. You will begin to get a feel for the benefits
of consistency, and a feel for running in (sometimes heavy) traffic.
And I bet you'll be a better NROS racer because of it.
