.
downhill part makes your car way-too tail happy as you try to get on the
power on the exit.....a prime example of a slow, controlled entry paying
dividends on the exit.
Very easy on the downhill portions to slide off the exits.....too much
speed can be the problem, but if you get set up to turn in with room to
spare again you can drift it a bit. Full throttle through 9 has put me
off the road a few times too many though - something like 80% seems to
keep me safer here.
Turn 9 at the bottom of the hill is another I can't get right with any
regularity. I think it's the camber.....too much speed on entry and you
understeer into the exit wall without trying, but slow too much and
either heavy braking on entry will unbalance your car and bring the back
end around, or you'll find yourself oversteering on the exit.....at
least that's what I do. The off-camber slope of the corner makes it
difficult to drift the car around. I take it in 4th.....but that might
be way wrong.
Joysticks aren't your main problem, controlling these cars is. A big
problem for me is that there seems to be little/no suggestions by the
sim to hint that your wheels are sliding either in a corner, or more
importantly on braking.
I've persevered, and I'm not good, but OK. Don't blame the tools, kick
the car!
Cheers!
