I ordered a Thompson Steering Wheel the last week in February and
yesterday I told them to send my money back.  If you're in the market
for a TSW and order now you may get it by Christmas.  Can anyone point
me to a wheel for under 400 dollers?  Better yet, I may just get a
56kb flex modem.  :-)

I'm about to do the same damn thing.  I too ordered one in Febuary and was
told it would ship mid April.  I'm getting tired of waiting.

That's interesting because I'm in the same boat the other guys are in. I
ordered my second TSW in late February/early March and have yet to see
it. However, I'm trying real hard to be patient because it is a great
product. But I'm afraid that sometime in the next couple of weeks my
patience will have run it's course and I'll start looking at other
alternatives.

Four LEDs? Mine had a single tri-colour in the centre of the wheel, and all
it does is is remove one of the colours when you do a gear change (it's red
& green together). Maybe I got an early one and they've upgraded it a bit
since. *** .....

Hi....

Yep thats it exactly, I've just bought mine around ten days ago, after
using the keyboard in GP1 and GP2 for years, and recently using a T2,
which is not even in the same class as the F1 Sim. (its like comparing a
Mini to a Rolls Royce).

The new F1 Sim has four LEDs, a different one lights up when you change
up or down a gear, or press one of the buttons on the wheel. Shame they
couldn't get them to light up sequencially as you accelerate like a rev
counter? Still I can't complain as it is THE BEST wheel and pedal conbo
IMHO.

I have also obtained some desk mounted quick release fixings for the
steering column, so I do not have to use the board, and my desk can be
used in the normal way when I'm not racing, brilliant!!!
