Act Labs Force RS ?

by Dway » Mon, 21 Feb 2000 04:00:00

I just ordered a Force RS wheel and shifter. Did I make a good choice on this
or not? I searched all over the web and this looks like the best I could find.
Has good reviews and all but I wanted comments from people that has tried it.

Thank You

I just got it also, The service is great from the company, Now as far as the
wheel goes. I find it a little stiff. It is not as smooth as I had hoped it
would be. If you try and turn it very easily and precise you hit spots
harder then others and it make for poor control at tracks like dega. You
don't notice it as much at the short tracks. It feels nice in your hands and
the force feed back seems pretty good. I again am having a hard time getting
used to any FF. I still use my trusty old T2 for any league Racing and just
use the act labs for practice and pickup races. I hope when it fully breaks
in It will be the wheel I hoped it would be. Overall, good quality, good
service, and most guys love it. I think I need to just get used to it.

Did you make a good choice?  I think so.  I have the same setup and
Rally Championship 2000 is amazing.  I'd offer reports on other
titles, but it is very hard to quit flying through the British Isles.
:)  I am expecting long hours of good racing out of my wheel.

You chose well.

This is the wheel.  Lucky you ordered the shifter too.  That is a must have.
