Has anyone hacked the program yet to create a no cdrom utility?

 Just do a full install and rem out the Smackply line in the N2.bat file.
Works for me...

     You don't even need to do that much. Just do a full install, remove
the CD from the drive and play the game. It works just fine.

 I know it'll run fine that way, but removing the "Smackply" line that
references the intro on my CD keeps an error from being generated. This
assumes you use the N2.BAT file to start the game.

Or instead of editing anything, just have the start comand as nascar2.exe
instead of n2.bat, it works.

     I wasn't aware of the existence of seperate executables. I'm just
playing whatever the link to the shortcut in the program group is. I'll
check later today whether it's the .exe or .bat file.

Why not just load the game with nascar2.exe! Works for me!
