I am trying to get some faster times. I seem to be 8 seconds too slow in
practice. Can I get some pointers on how to go faster.

Does anyone have a car setup and lap time for Indy 500 they are willing to
share?

You can within 2 sec of the best times in the world with default....

If you are 8 seconds adrift it means your line is wrong and your braking
points are wrong.

These two affect massively everything else in your laptime...

Always best to download a replay and see the lines and the braking points.

And the ETCC cars are not designed for ovals.  I think you might find
the physics to be a little wonky on ovals.  Road courses are the home of
ETCC touring cars.
