GPL players should go to the Atlas F1 site this week (www.atlasf1.com)
and read the article entitled "Grand Prix Redux". It talks a bit about
Stallone's plans for his new F1 movie, but it's mainly a long and
detailed look back at Frankenheimer's "Grand Prix" film: the making of
it, drivers and tracks, character vs. real drivers, etc. A very good
article no matter if you've seen the movie lately or not. After reading
it yesterday, I went home, popped in my tape, and watched the opening
Monaco race sequence from the movie again (for the ump***th time).

I believe so, yes. In fact, it was on television (BBC) just recently.

Yeah, I'm sure that www.amazon.com will ship it to you. Buy the Widescreen
version, it is awesome in a way that "formatted for your screen" can never
be.

Amazon has it, but only the NTSC version, and here in Holland we have
PAL. I believe in most European countries PAL is the standard.
Anyone know where to order a PAL version of grand prix?

Andre, if you can receive TNT movies, keep an eye on it. Once in a
while they broadcast Grand Prix, the wide screen version.

More vcr's than you realise are able to playback NTSC videos on
generic TV's.
