Cut it out! Now you got your little marketing job, and suddenly
you believe, spamming is okay?

To me it sounds more like DOn is posting some "news" about how to get your
hands on a product. Is this not a news group? I dont see a problem with
someone posting something that others are having problems with. I have been
asked many times from people across the country and world where they can get
Burnout, now Don tells everyone and you, (dip-s**t, in my opinion), are
flaming him for "spam-ing"?
This is a public news group to post information and questions about auto
sims, that is exactly what Don just did.

Hmm, I never saw someone from Papyrus, UbiSoft, MicroProse post
commercial
ads giving out 1-800 numbers to order their products. They don't need
to.

Uuuh, so you called me a dip-shit, but you're afraid to spell it out,
dweeb?

Ronny, not to get too carried away here but unless Don was hired this A.M.
by Bethesda he is not an employee of the company. Nor am I, we are beta
testers.
So Bethesda did not spam this group!
The reason Don posted the message was in response to the game not
being available or sold out in certain markets. I myself had several
inquires into
where the game could be purchased, as did Don.
As far as spamming goes, yes Papy did it a few weeks ago looking for
more potential employees. I also remember when GP2 came out a few years ago
Microprose having a rep in here PR'ing the game as well as several beta
testers.
I also seem to recall somebody from UBISoft making some kind of
representation
here at one point, with POD or F1RS but could be mistaken.

Dip-Sh........, No, I wont drop to your childish level. Get your facts
straight first before accusing someone of spamming on this NG. But yes, I
firmly belive you are a complete and total dip-s**t, and will most likely
continue to be one.

I have no problem with you talking about the sim, but you should admit,
that the posting in question "looked" like a perfect spam posting.

Of course, if I'm alone with this impression, shame on me and keep on
doing the "marketing" for your product...

Excuse me, you started the name calling, and you accuse me of childish
behaviour?? Oh well...

Why is it, that everytime somebody tries to reduce the spamming on a
newsgroup some fanatic follower of the subject blows his top and goes
into a frenzy? Don's posting was the closest to spamming I ever saw
on this ng...

AFAIK this is an open newsgroup and anyone can post anything he chooses,
its up to you to read or not read but please dont try to dictate to the
rest of us as to what is or is not spam.

Oh, when did this change? If I remember correctly, all commercial
postings
were and still are unwanted.

And there's a big difference between Don's posting and your comments
regarding
the TSW...well, maybe a small one.
