Yes Monaco is very challenging, I used to hate it too, especially the
chicane after the tunnel where I would crash 2/3 of the time.
The key was to look at replays of myself going through there which helped
me to notice that I could actually make it through there almost in a
straight line by letting the left tire go up on the curb as I was going
through the chicane, the result is that with a bit of practice and
concentration you can actually come to terms with this track and even manage
sub 1:30 laptimes (this is in the Eagle). The key is not to worry about being
fast but smooth, the laptimes come down as a side benefit of the smoothness.
Like everything else in GPL, Monaco requires practice (and a bit more
concentration than most tracks since there is not much room for error).
