F12000 Replays -- How??

I can't seem to get any replays in F1 2000 -- I've got it switched on
in the menu, but the play button is always greyed out.  I read where
it "suggests" you have at least 500m before attempting to record
replays and I only have 150m on that drive available, but does that
prevent it from recording completely?  TIA.

U can only get replays in Races..  even multiplayer races too

For some strange reason it only seems to work during races (quick,
championship, whatever).

Thanks for the info.  I'm still trying to complete a single lap
without visiting the kitty litter and haven't tried any races yet.
