Semi OT...Roof Dampers & Wing Flanges in N4?

While I was watching the shootout last weekend, I kept wondering what
are those thingies on the car roofs...It wasn't until I read an
excellent AP article today that I learned of  these new aerodynamic
devices. The new aero package increases the car's air resistance and
robs horsepower, making the racers more draft-dependent. Unlike the
restrictor plate which was implemented for safety purposes, these new
gadgets are supposed to make the race more exciting. (no surprise due
to the TV money now involved with Nascar)

Anyways, I know that previous versions of Nascar Racing did model
restrictor-plate races. Does N4 model the new mandatory aero package
as well? I ask cause I don't *seem* to be cranking the same speeds on
the superspeedways that I did with N3. It may be my inexperience with
the GPL engine, I don't quite know.

Yes, the physics engine has the new aero package built into it for Dega and
Daytona.   You can not actually see the new package, but it is there.
