Yes, there *is* music when the credits scroll.
Try new autodetect sound setup (setup.exe?)

<snip>

I hear music watching the credit scroll at the end. You should, too.
Try different IRQs, etc.

Hey,

I was wondering, with NASCAR (I have the CD vers.), when the credits scroll at
the end of the game when you are exiting, should there be accompanying music
like there is in INDYCAR ?  I just found it strange that it is silent...if
there *is* music, any suggestions why I don't hear any ?  I have a
SoundBlaster 16, and twin spin CDROM...any help greatly appreciated...

BTW, thanx to those who directed me to the lastest NASCAR patch...

Cheers !

Simon.

Make sure the latest version you have is 1.2.  NASCAR did not ever
play music on my computer either until I upgraded to version 1.2...

Hope this helps.

NASCAR should play music during the credits. (It uses MIDI tunes during
the credits, after winning a race, and after winning the championship
season.) If it doesn't play music at these times, check your MIDI setup
with you sound card and/or use the new auto-detect feature in 1.2 setup.

The rest of the sounds (Skid Row, Ned Jarrett, and game sound effects) are
all digital, so it is possible to have digital sound setup correctly and
MIDI sound set incorrectly.

I know that MIDI sound worked in 1.1, and most likely worked in 1.0, but
you should have 1.2 in any case. (Can't really beat the price. :) )
