rFactor Sprints

I can't get enough of these sprints on the smaller paved ovals.  Anyone know
of any leagues with these cars?

Thanks

I can't help you with your league question -- But I do agree that the
sprint cars on the smaller paved ovals are a blast!  I wasn't expecting
this mod to be one of my favorites, but it's all I've been playing
(offline) lately...

rFactor Sprints

I can't help you with the league question either, but I have been
playing the mod quite a bit.  It's a lot of fun!  I've been waiting for
a more realistic sprint car simulation for a long time.  DTRSC was fun,
but too much on the gamey side.

That said, I've seen sprint cars at IRP, and they do not slide through
the corner like you have to do in the rFactor mod.  On paved ovals a
sprint car will drive through the corners just like in a stock car.
So, I'm not convinced that the underlying physical parameters are
accurate for sprint cars.

And while I'm at it, the setup parameters in the garage menus are
incomplete/inaccurate.  Where's the rear stagger adjustment?  Why is
there a differential when sprint cars use a solid rear axle?  I've
noticed the same thing with the kart mod in terms of unrealistic setup
options.  Is that a weakness in rFactor?

Not that I just want to complain.  The kart and sprint car mods are a
big step forward.  I do think they need some more development.  I'm
willing to help!  :)
