Burnout - Tire Heat and Quick Runs

There is one thing in the demo that I find quite disappointing.  Ok, 2
things.  #2 being the worst.

1) With line lock on it will not do a stand still burnout.  I am well
aware of how to set a line-lock.  Never holds the car.

2) If you DO a burnout, you will make your run SLOWER.  Here is a test for
you to run to see if it is just me:

   - Do the best burnout you can and get the tires HOT
   - Make your run and note the time (maybe 9.9 at best, usually 10.2)
   - Next run do NOT touch the gas AT ALL.  Just let the car creep up
to the line.  It is important that you do NOT hit the gas AT ALL.
   - Hold the car with the brake.  Do NOT use the trans lock to rev it
up before launching.  Only use the gas at the green light.
   - Make your run (what a launch!).  Now it's 8.7s!!
   - Do this test again

Every time you even TOUCH the gas, you will make your run slower.  Let me
know if this is just me.  I'm sure you'll find the same thing.

Oh, and this is with an equal tree.  I cut the light at under 0.050s each
time.

What's the deal with this?  I can do it every time.
