Can we agree now to refer to NASCAR Racing 2002 as NR2002 and not N2K2 :)

Happy New Year's to all!

NR2002 looks like an EA title, wait for N5 to come out.

  Yep.  Or Nascar 3; N1, N2, and now N3, since N1999, N3, and now N4 were
fillers<G>

From the sound of their press release, the yearly naming convention will
continue from now on...so no N5 but 2002, then 2003 etc...
at least that's what I read into it.

N4 was hardly a filler.  It was the first of a completely different class of
Sim.

True, but N2002 could just of easily been it, or vice versa.  IOW, there's
been three Nascar sims released that did something different(it
appears....); N1, N2, N4 OR N2002(but not both of the last two).

Or how about "No Right Turns 2002"?

Or NRT2002 for short.

I guess there are 2 tracks that have right turns, but the teams get "real
race car drivers" for those tracks, because the typical red neck nascar
driver isn't good enough for those tracks.

Anyone care to do the research to answer this post?  Maybe like posting the
record of Regular drivers vs. Hired guns for the road course.  Seems that
the hired guns haven't faired so well, with the only exception being Robbie
Gordon.  And heck, he is a regular nascar Driver....but he may have to go
back to other forms of racing if he can't compete with the rednecks.....
