I can't play NASCAR Racing from Windows95 right now because I don't have
any joystick drivers installed.  I have tried to go back and reinstall
them, but my Windows 95 CD is now scratched to pieces and the drive won't
read it.  I would greatly appreciate it if a fellow racer could email me
the files "msjstick.drv" and "vjoyd.drv", which are in the
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  These are the files  I need to play in the
mode I'm using.  Thanks in advance!  My email address for any good

Sorry, the other driver that I need is actually "vjoyd.vxd", not
"vjoyd.drv".  Thank you!

Don't run it from Windows.
Press F8 during boot, select Command Prompt Only.
Then change to your Nascar directory and run the game.
You don't need "joystick drivers"

But you will need to load up your sound card driver. I have my config.sys and
autoexec.bat set up to give me a choice at bootup whether i'm going into Win95
or DOS mode. The Win95 section of the files is empty, but the DOS mode part
loads up my Plug n Play and Sound Blaster 16 drivers. It's not automatic
though, I still have to press f8 to go to DOS mode.

Call MS. They will be glad to replace your damaged disk.
