Q about "WClaunch-Configuration Editor v.5.0
I think that this is a brilliant patch, but it's collected patches is getting
out of date.
This may seem like a dumb question, but is it compatible with the new ver. of
the patches(gpperf v3.0/gplap v5.0)?
Is there a new ver. of WClaunch out, or do I have to run the patches by
individually?

Q about Gpanalyser v4.1
I have only tested it out once(looked great though), so this Q is most likely
dumb(but what the heck, I have got my asbest-suit on). When I tested the
analyzer, and tried to compare two "gpperf-files"(made with gpperf v1.2) in
the steering and the brake/throttle mode it only made a straight line. What
is wrong? Do I need a new ver. of gpperf to make this work?

"I know, I should read the manual, right??" ;)

Thanks anyway

Siggi

: Q about "WClaunch-Configuration Editor v.5.0
: This may seem like a dumb question, but is it compatible with the new ver. of
: the patches(gpperf v3.0/gplap v5.0)?

Well, I just downloaded the new versions.  The answer is yes.  All of the
new versions (QTYRES v1.1, GPLAP v6.0 and GPPERF v3.0) are all
'plug-and-play' for WCLAUNCH.  All you need to do is copy the new
versions into your WC/F1GP directory and use WCLAUNCH like you normally
do.  The new versions will run just fine.

: Is there a new ver. of WClaunch out, or do I have to run the patches by
: individually?

I'm working on v6.0.  It will have most of the newer editors included
(such as GPDAMED, GPBHP (eliminating wcf1ed), GPFLAGS, GPBUTTON,
GPGAP, WCPOINTS, etc; others will be included, but are a one time patch
(such as WCFF) and will not have an opition in WCLAUNCH (they would get
support if they were to include an uninstall option - hint, hint)).

You know, every version of WCLAUNCH has been the same as GPLAP.  For
example, v3.0 of WCLAUNCH contained GPLAP v3.0; v5.0 contained v5.0.  It
wasn't planned this way, honestly, it just seems amusing to me that it
worked out that way.

The reason it takes so long for me to get out a new version is that as
soon as I'm ready to release it, a new editor or new version of an
existing one comes out and I have to delay my release.  It shouldn't be
much longer as most are now supported (and working fine), just need to
add a few more things and it'll be ready.

For now, yes, you will have to run the patches individually.  You should
put them in your F1GP.BAT file.  They should come AFTER WCLAUNCH and
before GP.EXE.  Like this:

WCLAUNCH
.... New Editor options
.... New Editor options
GP.EXE
LAPTIMES.BAT
