program will give Error #64 when first run. This "bug" has been traced
to the user having the language for DOS set to something other than English.
The work around for this problem is to make a boot disk that will use
English as the language for DOS.
I am currently working on a fix for this problem.
I will need beta testers for the fix. If you use a language other than
English, please send me an e-mail to:
Please include what language you are using. Also include a sample of
your DIR output in the language that you are using. To do this type:
DIR > TEMP.TXT at the DOS prompt. Then import the TEMP.TXT file to the
mail and send it off. Please do not include the binary version of the
file. Only include the text. Here is an example of what I'm looking for
(this is the Spanish sample):
El volumen de la unidad C es B L E S K
El nmero de serie del volumen es 1D6C-B020
Directorio de C:\GAMES\GPRIX
. <DIR> 10-30-94 6:28p
.. <DIR> 10-30-94 6:28p
EDITDATA <DIR> 12-20-94 3:55p
GPSAVES <DIR> 10-30-94 6:47p
OLDFILES <DIR> 12-20-94 3:55p
Please edit the text so that only the first 10 or so lines are included.
I don't need to see all your files. ;)
Note - You will not be getting the entire program to test the fix. You
will only receive the code that fixes the problem. Once the code has
been proven to be a universal fix I will update the WCLAUNCH program to
v4.1 and send it out in the usual manner.
