First a big thanks to Michael for hosting a race at the ring
yesterday. 15 guys connected and the most amazing thing for
me was that at the end of it all I was still connected. This
was after about 50 minutes. I have been disco'd so many
times on other races that I was truely amazed that i stayed
on.
Even though i finished 3 minutes behind the leader after 3
laps, I had a blast and look forward to doing more races
there. The 15 cars, and starting at the rear of the pack was
pretty scarey as there was some carnage but after things
settled down it was a blast.

Anyways, just wanted to say thanks.

Yep, I was also there and I really enjoyed it. I'm not too sure why but now
and again there are particular races on VROC that stay in my mind for days
and this was one of them. I even found myself thinking about this
Nurburgring race at work today !

My latency wasn't especially low but I also stayed connected for the full 50
mins. I was surprised by how much action there was - plenty going on and I
felt totally knackered after it.

Please hosts - less Monzzzza and more of the scary tracks ;-)

Andy.

I'd second that - the Ring is fantastic for online racing, provided
people have taken the time to learn the circuit a little first.

It's terrible when you log on to VROC and all you see is Monza and the
Glen. I'd host more myself but I only have a modem link:-(
