I ran it on a 486 DX4 100mHz, 16MB RAM with full detail, and it was perfect.
I think you love to read this.

Don't worry about your computer, it will work fine, I am able to run it on
a P75 with 16 megs with no problems. Indianapolis Raceway Park, is a
completely different track than Indianapolis Motor Speedway. IRP is a short
track, IMS is a 2.5 mile superspeedway

Hope this helps

That's the Busch Grand National Expansion Pack for Nascar 2.  The
Indianapolis Raceway Park track is a short oval.  It's not the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where they run the 500.  IRP is more fun
than IMS anyway, though.  :)

Thanks for the responses (and fast also)...it's actually nice to find
a newsgroup where the responses aren't flames.  One last question...is
there a reason why I have to reset the sound configuration prior to
each use with the demo?  I have to do this for the original game, but
only after I added WIN 95 a few months ago.  Once again, any response
would be greatly appreciated...

Raceway park is the smaller track that jeff gorden cut his teeth on in the
midget ranks, but it is not IMS.  I didn't notice a major difference in
frame rates between the first nascar and the secoond, I ran the first on a
486/66, and I believe that is minimum req. for the second.  If you have
rendition, it will speed up the game considerable, 3dfx cards just give more
eye candy for the rate.
