Big Red Racing beware: New version out!!!

So much for help from Domark. They dont put version numbers in their BRR
demos. We were trying to play on Kali and got a 'Net version mismatch' error.
So off we went to domark's www site, downloaded the same file, the same file
name, same size, and guess what? It's a different version! It adds/fixes a few
things. Multiplay seems smoother, the inflatable boat doesnt flip over as much
over the ramp, it now says 'waiting for players' when you cross the finish
line in multiplay, and I can't get any sound! We still can't quite get  more
than a 3 player game working on Kali.

There is a version number on the main screen... bottom right corner.  I believe
the first release was v2.16, the latest was v2.17.

We've had 4 player games over Kali and the game played fine... it's just tough
finding 5 or 6 people who have the demo at any one time.

I have played 4 player BRR using kali just fine. I also got the net-
mismatch problem when trying to play other kali members. In fact, thats
how I found out that a new version was out there. What a pisser. Its
hard enuf getting 4 players all together let alone making sure
everyone is running the same version. As far as the sound goes, I found
that the setsound does not work. The only way I culd get the sound to
work was to set it in the install and leave it alone. I finally
have everything working and it plays great. I really like that fact
that a turkey playing with a 14.4 does not bring everyone else down.
The 28.8 guys shows pretty good, while the 14.4 guy shows jerky. The
one impovement DOMARK needs is a chat session in the menu !!!!. L8R :)
