so yes, i do like LFS, but there's one thing about it that i don't like:
Just like Netkar you just don't quite get the sensation of speed with the
default settings. So i fiddled around with the "Field of view" setting and i
think smaller values made it worse, while greater ones seem to cure that
problem. Not without bringing up another one of cpurse. Everything gets real
distorted. Especially the gear display has become so small that i can hardly
read it anymore.Then again I'm at 120 degrees FoV right now, which may just
be a little high. So, what kinda values are you guys using?

Isn't there a "virtual dials" option? Should help.

I lowered the default value a little, I have it at 70 IIRC. I find it
easier to judge corners with a lower FOV value.

I use the centre view too, and a FOV of 78degrees, for no other reason
than that's what gpl's default is. If I use the***pit view I find
90degrees gives the best compromise between FOV & ability to read the
dials/see the mirrors.
