The CCCC is the spiritual heir to the ICR2 league formerly named CICC, which
ran on AOL and the net in 1996 and 1997. Currently we are registering drivers
for the 1998 season, which will run from approximately April through October.
It's going to be very fast and a lot of fun, so if you're good at ICR2 and want
to give it one more season, here's your chance!!!
RULES IN A NUTSHELL
Timed races - you will send a start email, and then you
will have between 1 and 3 hours to complete the
qualifying and race and send in your standings files.
Additional verification files must be saved during the
race session, but you have 24 hrs to send them in, to
give you time to compile them.
Files required:
Qualifying - save standings file, edit and save replay.
Race - turn in F1, F2 screenshots showing damage and finish
information. Also track.txt, d2.txt,
final race standings, and a race report.
Extensions and restarts are available in case of emergency - just cause
must be given.
We think we've got the best racing league on the net -- come try it out and see
if you agree!!! There's nothing like the pressure of timed racing to get your
*** pumping.
CCCC 1998 will be running a full calendar of events with the racing simulator
CART Racing by Papyrus, formerly known as Indycar II. Since there is now a
track converter that will allow us to run NASCAR 2 tracks, we will be taking
full advantage of that to add new tracks and update old ones that are shared by
both sims. 11 events will be run on original ICR2/CR tracks, and the rest will
be converted from the
NASCAR2 game and the BGN (Busch Grand National) Expansion. You will need to own
these N2 tracks to run these events, as the league will not be providing them.
We will also be using the converted Indianapolis Motor Speedway from Indy Car
Racing I. You may also register and run selected events.
This season, CCCC introduces a slight innovation - the testing weekend. Race
Settings for the next segment of the schedule will be posted in advance by the
beginning of every testing weekend. Drivers may during that week post testing
adding interest and perhaps a bit of realism to our proceedings. It also gives
everyone a chance to make sure they've got the tracks set up correctly for the
upcoming segment. Also, race results may be submitted at any point between the
posting of the settings and each race's respective due date. That way drviers
can plan ahead and avoid missing races due to schedule conflicts.
